I was reading your column about universities and facebook, and I have a question. Obviously inappropriate, wild party pics are bad—but what about the wildly nerdy ones? Or the dorky sleepover with ridiculous clothes? For example, I have pictures from a harry potter party in which we drank "butterbeer" (creamsoda); but would that come across as bad? Facebook has a way of showcasing really unflattering pictures, and I wasn't sure if that mattered. Thanks!
If we were college admissions officers, we'd be really excited about any candidate who threw a Harry Potter-themed bash. Wild party pics are bad; wildly nerdy pics are GREAT!
