Terms
Consistent  -  A system of equations with at least one solution.
Dependent  -  A system of two linear equations if dependent if the equations describe the same line.
Inconsistent  -  A system of equations with no solutions.
Independent  -  A system of two linear equations is independent if the equations describe distinct lines.
System of Equations  -  A set of two or more equations with the same variables.
Underdetermined  -  A system in which there are more variables than equations is underdetermined.
