Quentin Tarantino's Best and Worst Movies of Last Year

Quentin Tarantino's Best and Worst Movies of Last Year

By Contributor

Quentin Tarantino has released his favorites movies of 2011 via The Tarantino Archives.

You can check out the list for yourself below, but before you do, check out some of the crazy choices he had for 2010.

What's great about Tarantino is his perception of cinema as a whole. Tarantino was listing his "most unique" of 2011, which puts things under a different lens for sure. That said, it's amazing that The Three Musketeers made the list.

What were you smoking Quentin? Maybe he thought it was "entertaining"?

Then again, maybe he just wanted his list to "go to eleven."

His list is always a good read, so enjoy. You can check out his list from 2099 here.

Tarantino's Top Eleven Movies of 2011

  1. Midnight In Paris
  2. Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes
  3. Moneyball
  4. The Skin I Live In
  5. X-Men: First Class
  6. Young Adult
  7. Attack The Block
  8. Red State
  9. Warrior
  10. The Artist / Our Idiot Brother [tied]
  11. The Three Musketeers

Tarantino's  Worst Movies of 2011

  1. Sucker Punch
  2. Potiche (Trophy Wife)
  3. Miral
  4. Insidious
  5. Rampart
  6. Straw Dogs
  7. Paranormal Activity 3
  8. Meek's Cutoff

Just an aside... Insidious and Paranormal Activity 3? Those were pretty decent horror flicks, especially considering how played out Paranormal Activity could have been, but wasn't.

What do you think of the Tarantino list?
