If Olivia Newton John got together with the cast of the musical Xanadu to make an iPhone game, I imagine this is what their digital progeny would resemble.

The Down-low: Ski-On-Neon (yes, this is the actual name of this zany iPhone experience) puts you in the two-inch, space-suited body of a extraterrestrial astronaut who, ya know, just feels like skiing…
And ski he does, down a neon alpine course as fast as his zero-gravity body will carry him—which, often, is not very fast at all. That’s the fun of this game, really: trying to get this little guy to move.
And all it takes is one finger. Touch your screen to make tiny ski man crouch and dive; release it to make him slide and fly. The key to this move is to crouch right before a dip in the course and to avoid bending too far on the incline (really never a good idea for anyone, digital or otherwise).
Depending on which course you choose, you’ll be testing your speed, jump, air, slide or a combination of these skills. Beat the first level of the course and move onto something even harder. It’s kind of like the winter Olympics, hosted by Studio 54.
Sure this game is simple, but that’s even more of a reason to kick its colorful bedonk. 'Cause if you can’t master a little spaceman skiing on a disco course, than what does that say about you! Huh?!
It probably says we're uncoordinated and doomed to failure. Another BLOW to our egos, courtesy of iPhone games. Have you mastered this tiny skiing spaceman?
