A few days ago we told you about Daniel Knauf’s new project BXX:Haunted in this Transmedia Tuesday post. BXX: Haunted is the online experience that follows Dr. Jeremy Johnson and his team of investigators as they spend a weekend in the Blaylock house, a California residence filled with dark secrets both criminal and supernatural. What makes the BXX format unique is that all of the footage from all 32 hours of investigation is made available to the viewers to explore in any way they wish. It’s a credit to the plotting of this project that there is not one of the nearly 200 ten-minute time segments where something cool doesn’t happen. If you haven’t already checked it out, do so, if only to experience one of the most effective time-eaters cyberspace has ever devised.
We asked Knauf a number of questions in our interview, but perhaps you had your own questions that you wanted to ask. Well, we’ve got good news, because Knauf is doing a live chat on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM Pacific Time on the Bxx: Haunted site. We encourage you to tune in and see what tidbits you can pick up from one of the trailblazers in transmedia. Don’t want to talk BXX:Haunted? That’s fine; Knauf has also had his hand in a number of other projects over the years including "Carnivále" (writer/creator), “Supernatural" (episode writer), "Fear Itself" (episode writer), "My Own Worst Enemy" (consulting producer), and "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" (consulting producer). You can bet we’ll be logging in on Wednesday; hope to see you there.
What questions would you ask Daniel Knauf?
