VIDEO: "RoboCop" Reboot Viral Video Surfaces

Tired of your city’s understaffed and ill-equipped police force fighting a losing battle against an ever-growing criminal element? Do you wish there was some marvelous machine that just makes all the bad go away—and keeps it that way? Well, Masterminds, the renowned innovators at Omnicorp have the answers to all these problems and more in their recently released video showcasing the remedy for our social decay!

Ever since the RoboCop reboot was announced, everyone was eager to know what changes would be made to the 1987 sci-fi splatter flick, especially in terms of design and whether or not it would stay true to the tongue-in-cheek gory majesty of the original. It looks like the production is still being kept in the dark at this time, but an official viral video has surfaced to hold us over until a proper teaser trailer is released. Made to look like an advertisement from the unscrupulous Omnicorp, it appears as though an old foe will be making its triumphant return.

If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it, and that’s exactly the case when it comes to the design of the ED-209. Although it’s a bit sleeker and slimmer this time around, the ED’s going to have enough fire power to blow away entire army tanks. It won't be just unwitting and hapless suits willing to demonstrate its programmed security protocols. And most likely providing its terrestrial cousin with some aerial support is the XT-908: a flying drone that, unlike ED, definitely won’t be hindered by stairs.

Will you go see the RoboCop reboot? You have 20 seconds to comply.
