A Nod to the Cosmonauts

A flag and some science equipment weren’t the only things left on the Moon. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin also left a memorial satchel containing medals commemorating cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, the first man to ever travel to outer space, and Vladimir Komarov, who died in a Russian space mission in 1967. Respect between astronauts transcends national boundaries.
