There Were Six Foot Tall Robot Thumbs at The Maker Faire!

The indoor exhibits at the Maker Faire were equally popular. This futuristic looking device is a ferrofluid magnetoscope made by engineer Michael Flynn. Users can create complex shapes out of this viscous fluid using magnetism. For a close-up demonstration, check out this video.
