There was a time when the sight of a female at a comic book convention was about as rare as the spotting of a bald eagle. Thankfully, this has changed in a big way over the years due in no small part to the mammoth surge of Cosplay! It's turned comic-cons into crazy, colorful circuses, and for that we owe Cosplayers everywhere a debt of gratitude.
