Though she encountered a lot of misogynistic opposition during her career as a philosopher, astronomer, and mathematician, she didn't give a rat's astrolabe what anyone thought. Her fiery nature came through in her lectures, which attracted thousands of scholars. Definitely the original sexy librarian.
