Marie Curie (1867-1934)
Marie Curie revolutionized the role of women in science. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, and is still the only person who has won in two Nobels in different sciences (Physics and Chemistry). She developed a theory of radioactivity, discovered two new elements, and founded research centers still operating today. And speaking of history's cutest couples, her husband Pierre Curie was her scientific collaborator and the pair were gooey-style in love. You might say they had... chemistry (see what we did there?).
