So, I had the dress, the hat, and the goggles, which are the main eye-catchers of my costume. But I still needed to add the finishing touches! For those, I raided my closet at home. When building your Steampunk wardrobe, you don't have to buy every piece—actually, there are a few wardrobe staples you probably already have that will round out the Steampunk world nicely! I grabbed a puffy shirt (essential to a Steampunk outfit and really easy to find at your local thrift store), a pair of brown pants, my well-worn boots, and a pocketwatch necklace.
