On her upcoming projects, Knightley said, "I got to the end of Anna Karenina and realized that I had spent five years doing films where I died in all of them or something horrific happened, so I've got to not do anything dark this year. I did a lovely film over the summer called Can a Song Save Your Life with the wonderful Mark Ruffalo and Catherine Keener. And I'm doing a piece of absolute pure entertainment, a Hollywood thriller called Jack Ryan. And I don't die! Which is great."
