MH: Tell us about this drawing; it's your take on Emily, the "Corpse Bride?"

DME: I always wondered what Emily would have looked like if she were alive. I imagine she would have come from quite a wealthy family (satchel of gold, family jewels, the fact that she is a beauty known for miles around), but I see her as the sort of lady who may have a sort of dark side to her (though I don't really know why), but still a little naive, too.
