Mindhut: You're clearly a Tim Burton fanatic. When did this obsession start, and how has it informed your work over the years?

Donna Marie Evans: Well, I wouldn't call it an "obsession" per se. I am simply fond of his work, as are thousands of other artists. I've grown up aware of his work and style. His characters are very appealing, and I love drawing portraits and making them into a "composition" by adding props and other items related to the films.
