Pierre Curie hired his future wife Marie to help him research heat and magnetism in his Paris laboratory. There ended up being a lot of extra-curriculum heat and magnetism between them (see what we did there?). The couple fell deeply in love, took their honeymoon on bicycles, and revolutionized science together. They discovered two new elements, won the Nobel Prize, and identified radioactive materials. Their daughter and son-in-law also won a Nobel Prize for chemistry.
