The Dongzhi Festival, East Asia

The Dongzhi Festival is one of the most widely celebrated holidays, and is observed in China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Taiwan. It's derived from yin and yang philosophy, and is celebrated on the solstice because longer days increase positive energy flow. To celebrate it, eat dumplings and rice balls with your family, then relax in a bath filled with citrus fruits.
