How the Holiday Season is Celebrated Around the World

Pancha Ganapati, India

Ganesha is one of the most influential deities of all time, and it's easy to see why. When an infinitely wise, elephant-headed arts-lover comes along, the least we can do is celebrate his holiday. Pancha Ganapati is a festival lasting from Dec 21-25 that honors this god and his plentiful limbs. To celebrate it, build a shrine to Ganesha and reflect on how to improve yourself in the New Year.
