Queen Boudica, 1st Century
Within decades of the Trung sisters' revolt against Chinese rule, the revolutionary Boudica, Queen of the Iceni people of Eastern England, kicked some Roman butt out of her own native land. She rode into battle to fight with her men, and completely decimated the city of Colchester, then the Roman capitol of Britain. Terrified of her wrath, the Romans retreated. But Boudica chased them down like some kind of crazy war goddess, conquering London and St. Albans for the Iceni. Don't mess with this warrior queen!
