The Taj Mahal
The Lovers: Shaj Jahan, emperor of the Mughal Kingdom, and his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
The Gesture: The most famous tomb in the world. Jahan's dear wife Mumtaz died during their delivery of their 14th child, leaving him utterly heartbroken. He had the Taj Mahal built to hold the remains of his late wife and it stands to this day as a reminder of what true love can build (with the help of 32 million Rupees and thousands of servants, of course).
