Idris Elba as Admiral Ackbar

This meme-riffic guy has a much expanded role in the EU, where he both serves in the government of the New Republic and as captain of a Mon Calamarian army. Ackbar has long been a fan favorite, and the alternately serious and witty Elba, star of the BBCA hit Luther, would be a great casting choice should the Admiral finally get his due.
