Robonaut

The Robonaut project is a robotic system that can function as the equivalent of a spacewalking astronaut. Working side by side with humans, or going where the risks are too great for people, machines like Robonaut will expand human ability for construction and discovery. NASA designed Robonaut with the goal of exceeding a suited astronaut's dexterity, range of motion, strength and endurance capabilities.
