Endurance (Environmentally Non-Disturbing Under-ice Robotic Antarctic Explorer) is an experimental explorer robot that is capable of deep sea dives in extraordinarily cold temperatures. It's currently being used to map in three dimensions the geochemistry and biology of underwater terrain in Antarctica but Nasa hopes to one day use it to explore explore objects in the solar system know to harbor water, such as Jupiter's moon, Europa.
