The International Space Station
The ISS is not only a major outer space laboratory, it's also the first step to sustainable space colonization for civilians. Check out the fascinating tour of the station we posted a month ago if you're interested in seeing the living quarters of the crew. And while pictures of the station itself are awe-inspiring, there's nothing like seeing an astronaut kicking it in the station's Cupola view port (in this case American Tracy Caldwell Dyson), looking down at our tiny little rock of a planet.
