They Were on Doctor Who???!!!

The Beatles

The Beatles guested on Doctor Who!!!!???? Well, kind of. In 1965, right on the heels of their new found success, the Beatles were slated to guest as themselves in the episode "The Chase." The band was to appear in aged makeup as their future selves, but manager Brian Epstein objected to their appearing on the program, so footage from the BBC show Top of the Pops was used instead; this was one of the few Beatles related fiascos NOT brought about by Yoko Ono.
