Commissioned Book Alteration With Birds

"The customer wanted the book to close. That wasn't easy; most of the book alters that are done on both sides have to stay open, because I need to glue both sides down, and the pages can't bend back to the closed position. Luckily, the binding has seen its better days, so it was pretty cooperative. The customer also wanted the title to involve birds. Do you know how hard it is to find a title with birds?"
