You’ll need something to cut with (a small saw or craft knife will work best), and something to glue with. It will depend a little on what kind of plastic your markers are made of, but model glue or super glue are probably going to work best. We actually wound up using a bit of transparent tape, too, but it shouldn’t really be necessary.
Depending on what your markers look like, you will probably want some paint, as well, but that’s up to you.
