Pripyat

Pripyat is one of the world's most radiative places, second only to the Fukushima region of Japan. It is the closest city to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, and was swiftly evacuated in the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster of 1986. Now a slowly decaying ghost town, Pripyat is considered a top location for "extreme tourism." For short periods of time, visitors are allowed to explore the urban ruins, which include the creepy remnants of an amusement park.
