Slaughterhouse Five

One of the world's great antiwar books, this book is a mind-bending and hilarious read. It tells the story of Billy Pilgrim, an ordinary man who leads an extraordinary life. Along his travels he is abducted by an advanced alien race, and recounts his memories to them as they discover what it is to be human. Author Kurt Vonnegut is one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century, as this book certainly proves.
