Frank Hansen toured the U.S. and Canada throughout the ‘60s and ‘70s with the frozen remains of an apeman believed to have been the missing link. He claimed the beast was discovered in Siberia by an unnamed California millionaire who tasked Hansen with watching over it. Eventually, primatologist John Napier and the Smithsonian Institution put his hoax on ice then they discovered financial records detailing the commission and purchase of a latex apeman.
