Billy Meier's Pterodactyl

Billy Meier is essentially persona non grata in paranormal circles, notorious for coming forward with clearly fabricated U.F.O. photos and alleged encounters with a race of humanoid aliens known as the Plejaren. But in a move totally out of left field, Meier shocked the world—or at least attempted to—with photographic evidence validating the existence of the long-extinct Pterodactyl. Closer scrutiny of the photo revealed that he’d merely snapped a pic of a painting from the book Life Before Man. The more we think about it, we don’t know if this hoax is unbelievably desperate or incredibly sad.
