Perfect for a Rainy Day Because: You won’t want to be near cars (or parking lots) for a few weeks!

Plot: The titular character is actually a car. A cherry red, demonic, killing machine of a car that ruins the lives of its owners. But the real draw here is the friendship between Christine’s owner, mega-nerd Arnie, and the book’s narrator, a jock named Dennis, who can only watch his childhood pal’s descent into madness courtesy of his spooky car. Good stuff!
