The Joint Dark Energy Mission
The Movie: The Joint Dark Energy Mission has a secret compound right next to several enormous radio telescopes.
Real Life: The Joint Dark Energy Mission is a real organization, managed by the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. But they do not have a bunch of radio telescopes next to their complex, because dark energy does not emit light. Most of what we know about dark energy has been learned through observing its effect on the expansion of the universe, rather than direct observation. Even if we could use telescopes to study it, they would have to be very far away from the JDEM building, to avoid interference from cell phones and wifi (this is why radio telescopes are usually in the middle of nowhere). Maybe the dishes were just for decoration? In which case: very classy.
