Everyone is Emotionless

The rise of computers and robotics has often inspired science fiction writers to think about the influence these logical instruments will have on humanity. Movies like Equilibrium or books like The Giver depict worlds in which emotion and individuality is frowned upon, for example. Many people complain that the rise of the Internet has made people zombie-like and less in touch with their feelings. Are they using the same Internet? To us, the online revolution only exposes how passionate we all are. Far from avoiding melodrama, the 21st Century has projected it across the entire world! If only having a collectively cool head was humanity's problem, we could probably get a lot more done!
