The MindHut Summer Reading List

Joyland, Stephen King (available June 4)

Advanced word on this one is minimal but goooood! So good, in fact, that it just got optioned for a movie deal before even being released! Set in an amusement park in the 1970s, Joyland follows Devin Jones, a college student who moonlights as a carnival worker. When a fortuneteller tells him that his fate is intertwined with that of a terminally ill boy, things get weird. When he stumbles on to an unsolved murder-mystery, things get even weirder. Sounds like the perfect thing to read outdoors. In the bright, sunny daytime!
