1. National Air and Space Museum

It's pretty hard not to totally geek out over space and aeronautics, and the National Air and Space Museum is the premiere destination for anyone obsessed with taking flight. As part of Washington's illustrious Smithsonian museum, the NASM boasts the largest collection of planes and spacecrafts in the world, including a near exact replica of the Wright Brothers' historic Kitty Hawk, and several crafts that have actually set foot on the moon! If you go, make sure to wear a chin guard, because we guarantee your jaw will drop to the floor!
