Just like Felicia Day, actress/director/writer/producer Benson has become a mini-force in the geek world, after playing the highly adored Tara Maclay, the lesbian witch who stole Willow's heart in the last several seasons of Buffy. Since BtVS, Benson has written and directed three indie films: Chance; Lovers, Liars & Lunatics; and Drones; which she co-wrote/directed with fellow Buffy cast mate Adam Busch. Benson has also dabbled in writing comics for Image and then signed a three book deal in 2007 through Penguin Books, later releasing the horror/sci-fi novels Cat's Claw, Serpent's Storm and How to Be Death.
