Seems\ a bit strange to go with an episode so late in Tom Baker’s run as the Doctor, but “City of Death” is a great introduction to classic Who for newcomers. It is one of the funniest serials ever, and was written by none other than Douglas Adams, the man behind The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Mix great humor with some wonderful direction and beautiful on location shots of Paris and you have the makings of a GREAT show.
