Made the List Because: Another one-word wonder, we couldn’t not include Data—his blank-stared-wannabe-human demeanor was the perfect follow up in the Spock slot on TNG, when he could have come across as a knock-off. His deduction and analytical skills are unmatched, and he’s always a delight—see: “Schisms,” the episode in which he reads “Ode to Spot,” the funniest poem about a cat ever written.
