A Mechanical Mind is the artistic alter-ego of the Chicago-based Justin Gershenson-Gates, but the former is certainly more appropriate, as his work is like that of a tinkering mad scientist, bringing to life insect-like creatures from the spare parts of watches, light bulbs, vacuum tubes, and various do-hickeys that most people would regard as junk. His work is truly one of a kind and has a distinct steampunk meets the biological vibe. So let's meet all of A Mechanical Mind's ingenious little friends!
