For the die hard Supernatural fan in your life, daddy John’s Journal is a must-have—it’s essential to the Winchester boys on the show, and it’s kinda the canon of the series. This book is a fun, fictional foray into a ridiculous amount of lore from the show. There’s info on how the boys’ mom died, Sam’s peewee soccer games, and what Dean’s first day of school was like. It’s also loaded with fun sketches of sigils and demons and other evil things, but ultimately, what resonates most is the regret John felt after the boys’ mom died. Ultimately, this is one man’s saga of redemption, and it’s a pretty dang good un’.
