3. Tool Time: Neanderthal Edition
It's a common misconception that humans are the only animal to have ever manufactured tools. In fact, Neanderthals were pretty good at churning out weapons, scrapers, and hammers. In order to hunt big game like mammoths and reindeer, they built sturdy spears with chiseled points. They never figured out long-distance darts or trap hunting, but that just means they were way more hardcore. Indeed, many Neanderthal remains appear to have sustained similar injuries to modern rodeo competitors, leading scientists to think these guys jumped onto the backs of their prey like total bosses.
