Coraline by Neil Gaiman

A classic haunted house story flipped on its head, Coraline is a young adult fantasy/horror must-read. A young girl discovers a parallel world in the old house her family is living in, where there are haunting alternate versions of her own family with buttons for eyes and all sorts of weirdness.

Scare Factor: 2 - This one is intended for all ages so is definitely something anybody can enjoy, but it is still pretty creepy for a YA novel!
