Chewing Gum is Forbidden (Singapore)
There’s nothing worse than stepping on a wad of recently chewed gum and figuring out how to get it off without actually touching it. It’s gross, it ruins our day, but we soldier on all the same. Not Singapore. No, in Singapore that drives them nuts! So much so that the country successfully passed a law banning the sticky confection—and it’s been in effect for a little over two decades! The law seems extreme, but we have to admit it’s understandable. Though the spike in post-meal breath is something one must learn to tolerate.
