Chimpanzees

Although there is some dispute as to what the world's most intelligent non-human primate is, chimps are certainly among the very smartest. They create extremely elaborate social systems, utilize tools and teach one another to use them, and are extremely adept at manipulating their environment to suit their needs. Overall, they are far and away one of the brainiest creatures on the planet.
