Ridley Scott's I AM LEGEND

Before Francis Lawrence helmed the decent but not all that amazing Will Smith starring I AM LEGEND in 2007 Ridley Scott had his eye on this classic sci-fi property. Although Scott has had some misses over the course of his career he's undoubtedly had success in the past (Alien and Blade Runner for example) and Scott's approach would at least have included practical make up effects for the film's monsters, which were rendered unconvincingly through CGI in the 2007 Smith version. That alone would have made it waaaaaaay better.
