Here Comes the Sun! 12 Insanely Futuristic Solar Power Designs

Sarah Hall's "Lux Gloria"

Sarah Hall masterfully marries art and science with her stained-glass solar paneling. This particular design, named "Lux Gloria," adorns the Holy Family Cathedral in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Solar cells are embedded within the artwork, and integrated into the building's electrical system, providing it with about 2,500 kilowatt hours of energy annually. Photo courtesy of Sarah Hall
