15 Classic Novel Endings We Would Change

Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami

Practically everything Murakami ever wrote is a masterpiece that will be read for generations to come, but the ending of Kafka on the Shore is somewhat frustrating. It's a beautiful novel with wonderful characters, but the ambiguity in the identity of the woman that Toru sleeps with in the novel makes things feel a bit confusing in the end. Still a modern classic, but we would have loved some more definite closure.
