Last but not least, the far-and-away king of fantasy worlds is definitely J.R.R. Tolkien. Not only does he have some kickin’ initials, he created one of the, if not THE most elaborate fantasy worlds ever. We are of course referring to Middle Earth, home of The Lord of the RingsThe Hobbit, and The Silmarillion. All high fantasy and fantasy lovers owe a great debt to this master of world creation.
