8 Things That Should NEVER Be Inflatable

Suspension Bridges

There’s a reason why we scramble to get inflatable pool toys into the house before a summer storm approaches: The wind’s going to send them flying all over the place and into your neighbor’s yard. In essence, suspension bridges—built specifically to withstand windy conditions—wouldn’t benefit from a shift in cheaper building materials. Sure, an inflatable Golden Gate Bridge would look more adorable and charming, but driving across it as it twists and gets blown away during a hurricane isn’t.
